COURSE DESCRIPTION

Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Board Review is a 2-day crash course for FNP students looking to successfully pass their Board exams. Day 1 is a review utilizing the exam objectives. Day 2 is a live Q&A interaction to ensure comprehension has been met. This course is delivered live by educators who believe learning should be fun and interactive. Content is presented to be remembered not memorized!

LEARNING OUTCOMES

After completion of our 2 day (4 hour) course, students will be able to:

Develop test taking strategies for the ANCC/AANP Exam.
Review Clinical Decision-Making Skills.
Utilize helpful pneumonics and other tips to remember content.
Improve confidence to take Board exam.
Learn how to utilize CBD and other relaxation techniques to combat test taking anxiety.

Linette Eke

Linette Eke is an experienced, knowledgeable and devoted healthcare professional with nine years of varied nursing experiences. She is currently finishing up with her certification in psychiatric mental health nursing. (PMHNP). She began her nursing education career in Nursing at Towson University, with a Bachelor’s of science degree in nursing, which advanced to an interested in receiving a Master’s in nursing education at Morgan University, and a Master’s in family nurse practitioner, and lastly is working currently on her Post Master’s degree at Wilmington University in Mental Health Nursing. She has provided clinical nursing adjunct faculty at Community College of Baltimore County with the Catonsville campus, Harford Community College, and Johns Hopkins University as a mental health instructor.
In Mental Health Nursing, she is also a therapeutic mentor for children with a history of trauma in the Catholic Charities Mentoring Program at Villa Marie. Her future plans involve an interest in a research based setting on mental health conditions, addiction treatment, and working towards better community resources, programs, and better accessibility to health care. She is currently a member with the ANA, AANP, and AANC. She has a passion for addiction medicine, holistic and complementary alternative medicine in mental health outpatient settings.
